Book Reccomendations for "How I Lost you"
So far i really like this book. It closely resembles the work of Sarah Dessen, and other authors of that genre. It starts by plunging you into the scene of a paintball game. Kya and Grace vs. an all boy team.Both of them get labeled as "girls" and the boys definitely don't expect the girls to win the match. On top of all that pressure, Lady Grinders, their dream college has come to scout them out. Later on in the book, we find out Kya has a dark secret. But, it is not reveled to the readers immediately. A book i would defiantly recommend for reader who enjoyed this book is: Just Listen, By Sarah Dessen. Both of the books have similar genres, and the plot has some differences but there are also some similarities present. In just listen two people bond over their love of music. In this book they bond over paintball. I think both books are written very well, and i would recommend both of them.

The Arrow and The song Reccomendation.
Today i have read the poem by Henry wadsworth longfellow, Titled"the arrow and the song"
It is an interesting poem, written from a new perspective and really opened my eyes a little. Maybe some things we say or do wont matter to us, but they mean the world to someone else.
I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.
I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?
Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend.

I would recccomend the peom "A psalm of Life" also by the same author. Mr.Longfellow has a distinctive and unique way of writing.
Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.
I found this stanza espicially inspiring, even though his work is a little old, i think it can still apply to many areas of life today.

Analysis
Today i have read the poem Nothing Gold Can Stay. This is written by Robert Frost.
Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
This poem is talking about how there are very beautiful things in life, but all of them at one point pass away.
'Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.'
But only so an hour.'
This line is comparing everything good in life to a flower, and the very short life span it holds. The good things in life pass too quickly.
'Nature's first green is gold'
Here he is stating that green is just as valuable as gold. This is because no plant stays green forever, there will be a time where it has to whither away. I think RObert Frost really conveyed his message well through his well thought-out imagery.I am infering that Robert would like more time, because nothing gold can stay. It dosent last forever, i infer peom means that we need to make the best of what we have now, we never know how long we have it for. This whole poem sounds a little bit meloncholy, and bittersweet.
"So dawn goes down to day."
From the placement in the peom i can infer that he dosent want the day to end, He wants the flowers and green leafs to stay forever. Also in this peom he uses rhymes like "gold,hold,stay,and day".
I think this picture personifies the first sentence.
Characters
In my book, Someone elses Life, The main character,Rosie is met with some difficult chioces.
She is just teenager but Rosie has a lot of pressure piling on her. She might test positive for Huntingtons and basicly only have a couple more years to live until she goes crazy. During the story, Rosie finds out that she was switched at birth. And the girl she was switched with might be postitive to Huntingtons also. Now, Rosie is detirmined to find her and tell her. Rosie is very sweet to others, but on the inside questions are churning. At first Rosie was hostile to the other girl. She kept on thinking about how she stole her life. Then Rosie understands that it wasnt anyones fault and her anger should not be directed to the other girl. Rosie and her real dad form a deep bond and trust each other exclusivly.
